Holly's challenge for today was to take pieces of paper from our stash and create strips for the background of our card signifying her "Stripping Down" theme. I cased this card from Sharon Harnest, a Gina K designer found on Pinterest. I chose pastel checked paper for my strips and to also paper piece the umbrella. Used Stampin Up's Framed Tulips embossing folder on white for a border design and then applied all to my card base. Used pink throughout the card.

Your interpretation of today's challenge is inspired! I love the colors of gingham and the way you paper pieced the umbrella. Plus the cute sentiment. A great card!
