The F4A241 was to repeat a stamp. This scene is really 3 seperate stamps. I stamped the cloud 3 times on the image for bg and 3 more times to pop up. The trees along the waterline are one stamp used 3 times. For the reflection I put the clear plastic sheet from the "thing a ma jig" over the trees and stamped them onto the plastic. Then I flipped the plastic over-ink side down- lined it up with the base of the stamped trees, and pressed onto the water area of the image. I made water ripples with my white gel pen. This is one of my favorite scenes to make and I always use the same colors...I was getting a little bored with it. The SC508 gave me the idea to cut it into panels.
The MMTPT322 was to use a rain theme. My husband and I were hiking in the local mountains on a beautiful summer day when, out of no where, huge black clouds rolled in and we got soaked. So when I saw the rrain theme, this scene came to mind. I made the top bkg panel by sponging black distress ink over my cloud stencil. I love to make these sponged scenes. Great challenges at SCS this week. TFL, Francie

What a beautiful scene, Francie. Using the sketch layout has worked so well to change it up a bit for you. The background looks gorgeous too - what we get to see of it .
I remember once being about an hour's walk from the car up in the woods, barefoot with my shoes and stockings back in the card because it was such a beautiful warm sunny day. And it started snowing!! I can identify with your story!

Stunning scene! Your stormy clouds go so well with the colors of your water and hills. I just reread your description and I'm not sure I can keep all the parts straight on how you stamped it..at least you were able to to keep it straight and came up with one gorgeous scene. LOVE it!!
