Lydia gave us a wonderful challenge to start off Hope You Can Cling To! She asked us to use a special technique to "raise up" part of our images. I had seen the Paper Tole technique used before, but never tried it. I did use dimensionals to separate my beach combers from the fishing boat image. Then I layered the lady's hair along with the man's shirt and head. The next layer is the man's shirt and head and the top layer is just the sleeve. Hard to get a photo to show the dimension, but I am sure you get the idea.
On a personal note, thank you to all who have asked about me! I am currently listed for a double lung transplant at UAB Medical Center! Now we just wait for God's perfect timing!

Kathleen, this is a beautiful card. Don't you just love the paper tole technique? I sure do.
I'm so glad you gave us an update on your health situation. I've been wondering. Sending prayers and hugs as you wait for your transplant.

So you just couldn't stay away from these challenges..lol..this is so lovely and the image of the couple is so calming as they watch that boat with the sunset back drop. Great job on the tole technique!

This is a technique I have always wanted to try...what a lovely card you created with it! Your coloring as usual is awesome. Perfect card for this challenge!
