This card is for Rebecca's challenge for Hope You Can Cling To to show something on our cards that floats. I thought of feathers floating to the ground or birds floating on a lifting current. These die cut feathers were on my desk from another project - they were actually clear masks I tried out on my Gelli Plate, but the paint on them looked so pretty I decided to use them as embellishments. I debossed some pine dies into my watercolor card that look like feathers to me, then watercolored around them with Shinhan paints. For the second layer of color I used the cut feathers as masks and stippled watercolor over them and around the card. The sentiment is one of my designs from Impression Obsession.
It is truly an amazing card. So very artistic with a perfect message.

Using your masks for embellishments was a great idea - if I didn't read it, I never would have thought they were not specifically MADE for this wonderful card!! Dreamy, ethereal look to your BG too - Cool!
