Let's see if I can remember how I put this together..first off this is my inspiration piece. The bg was made by smooshing Red Lead inks on a craft sheet and rubbing glossy paper on top. I then stamped on top of that with real leaves from my yard...rubbed them with Inka and Viva paints. The squirrel and acorn are colored with copics. The other leaves are cut out of glossy paper that had various distress inks applied. The leaves by the squirrel are real and were painted with Mod Podge and then sprayed with a fixative after they were dry. I've never tried that method before so I'll see how it goes..I probably could have let the MP dry longer but I was impatient. I applied some Wink of Stella in gold for highlights which you can't really see in the picture. I took the picture outside by the same leaves I used for stamping and accent. It's a beautiful Fall day here..might get up to 80!! TFL!

What a vivid, colorful fall card, Polly! Love all the different techs you used...had to read your description again..at first I thought you said the squirrel was real, lol. Glad it's only the leaf!

Lots of pretty leaves here, Polly, and so nice that you could actually use some real ones from your yard! I love that sweet little guy with the big acorn! Cute card~
