For this week's natural free-for-all challenge. By way of explanation: The image is stamped on a scrap of my handmade, recycled paper. The pulp consists of old paper, cut-up cotton balls, and just about anything that happens to fall in the blender. Cat hair. Lawn clippings. Orange zest. Whatever! I figure with my DNA from the used cotton balls (removing make-up) and any organic stuff, this is natural paper.
Have you ever tried making paper from scratch? It's really time consuming, takes up a lot of space, and is messy/smelly. I'll stick with recycling, thanks.
This fits with the DD central theme in that it could be a retirement card, and with this week's tree wtui challenge.

Brenda, your a gem! I have not tried to make my own paper. I don't need anymore mess than I already haven't cleaned up LOL! But... I sure do appreciate yours. And I love that stamp, it reminds me of the quilt squares I've been working on. A lovely card for the challenge.

Oh, Brenda, this is fabulous! First, you know I would love this wonderful quilt square, and the verse around it is a favorite of mine! And making your own paper - I am SO impressed! What a beautiful card, sweet friend, and it's perfect for the Dirty Dozen theme this month - another one! Woohoo for you! Hugs, sweet friend!
