I have had such a busy week, there just hasn't been time to get a photo and get this card uploaded. For the FS dated Sept. 21, Bridget Finlay is featured. Hard to believe that Bridget had never been the Featured Stamper, and now that she is stepping down as the Hostess, she is being Featured.
Bridget is a wonderful artist, her pairing of colors and her beautiful coloring make her an inspiration to so many here on SCS. Her love of people and the Lord, make her a favorite across the world.
There is no way that I could ever CASE Bridget with the sense of color and style she exudes. But try to honor her, I did.
I chose the stamped word treasure, for that is what Bridget is. I chose to CASE a card that I have in my possession. There are two views of this card, the one that Bridget posted with a beautiful bow, FS376 Watercolor Tulips by bfinlay at Splitcoaststampers
and the one that I was so very lucky to receive, without the bow, Just a note from Bridget (bfinlay) by mother's daughter at Splitcoaststampers
Both of Bridget's versions are beautiful.
Since it is autumn, I went with leaves. Being as I couldn't come close to the beautiful coloring Bridget did, I used die cut leaves that were colored with various mediums.
I'm sorry for being so late, life has been busy lately.
Bridget, this is an honor you are so deserving of, I hope you have enjoyed your week in the spotlight!
All the best to you in your future endeavors!

Oh, that bg makes me sigh - so soft and elegant in those subtle shades and swirls! The vibrant leaves just pop against it! So very beautiful with the glimmering sequins....Jennifer, your words just seem too kind, makes me wonder who you're talking about! Thank you for your encouragement and thank you for this beautiful CASE...sending big hugs over to you, my friend! xx

Just stunning! What a beautiful piece of inspiration for Bridget. Did you write the sentiment yourself? I love the soft background with the rich leaves in front. Lovely, lovely card and tribute.
