This month's theme for my Card Club swap was "showers" as in baby shower, bridal shower, etc.. I was inspired to make this card for a bridal shower. I left off a sentiment because I thought it could be used for other occasions such as a Sweet Sixteen birthday, Quinceanera, baptism, many others. On the pink layer, I used the new Stampin' Up textured impressions embossing folder - Filigree Frame. It's so beautiful. I used Perfect Polka Dots EF on Whisper White and punched out hearts to make the skirt. For the bodice, no embossing was used, just the heart punch. The waistline has a bow and a line of self-adhesive pearls was applied to bodice. This is a fun card to create. I made 10 cards for my swap. TFL

You are sooooo creative...awesome. Was looking at how you made the skirt and then read you used hearts...right on...great use of th dots and the pretty folder, which I agree it is so pretty with all the little swirls, and neat how you kept it for many dif. occasions...well done...soft and pretty for any girl...TFS..:0)

I have a bridal shower coming up Diane and I love this idea! It's going into my favourites right now! I love the little line of pearls and the satiny bow.
