One reason I chose this card is because I was trying to decide what to use for Darnell Knauss's NBUS Challenge (Never Before Used Stuff with an option to make a Christmas card). I saw Brenda's holly card and it reminded me that I'd never used a Sissix stamp and matching embossing folder I'd bought, nor had I used my Creative Expressions holly die.
I kept the holly theme of Brenda's card, with the same colours and basic layout, but made my card more CAS, used a different sentiment, and a stamped embossed background, and left out some of her layers.

How funny! I had the same stamp/ef set, and gave it away. I could never get them lined up right! Frustrating. The never been used challenge is smart...
You aced the alignment. Awesome Christmas card, and thanks!

You really are creating some lovely Christmas cards, Susan. Love how you colored the embossed portions of this EF. The holly in the circle makes a great focal point.

What a nice background that stamp and die set makes! I love that it is coloured lightly and that that makes the holly die cut in the circle stand out so well. Beautiful Christmas card!
Good to see you again, Susan! I love this wonderfully festive Christmas card with the holly embossed background and the fun spotlight of holly!! Great job lightly inking the e/f! Everything about this is fabulous and I'm glad you got to use so much NBUS on one card!! Thank you so much for playing in my second NBUS Challenge!! Hugs, Darnell

Susan, what a beautiful Christmas card! I have no idea how you stamped over the embossing folder so perfectly but I love that look! It's the perfect background for your die cut holly leaves. I also love the label die you used for the greeting.
