Today's inspiration comes from sweet Kittie747's blog KittieKraft and there is always and has always been tons of inspiration and detailed information so freely and graciously shared there. Today I was inspired by a brick wall, window and foliage masterpiece found here: http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/.a/6a...9521970b-popup. I bought my window a couple of years ago (enabled by Kittie, but haven't used it until today...enabled once again by Kittie;))!! I tucked some clouds behind the window because in my mind, this brick wall is a single ruin wall with sky on the other side and a cascade of fall leaves on the facing side. The window is in pretty good shape for a ruin, but I was afraid of distressing it and wrecking it!! The long ago owners also left a little lace curtain hanging which seems to have weathered the years pretty well too that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Thanks so much again for years and years of inspiration, Kittie.

Oh - you beat me to it!! I have this window and an window box to go with it - and the cats as well - was just looking for the brick wall embossing folder - now I know where to get one. What a lovely card. Oh wow - lace for the curtains too!!! Into my favourites for future reference.
Dear Michelle, I adore that your window can look at the outside from both sides. I have done that several times as well. We are entitled to our creative ideas and it's all wonderful art. Your window scene with the fall colors and kitty cat is just perfect and I especially love the lace the past occupants left. One of my favorite things is that you used the tall grasses on both sides of the window. Thank you so much for playing. It really means so much to me.

Fabulous card, and so definitely Kittie-inspired! Your story is great - it made me think of an old, burned out brick building I pass each day on the way to work - I can totally see your scene!

Love your story and your card definitely pays homage to Kittie's wonderful cards. Your little details are wonderful - from the leaves, to the kitty on the windowsill, to the green stalks framing the card - beautiful.
