I colored my “quilt” in shades of blue, green, and red - okay so far. Then I decided I would add the spool and tape with the pincushion on top – and the sentiment. Hmmm, what to do with the background. Took a big step and embossed and sponged it to make it look like fabric. Well, in the end, I think it was too much blue, but it’s done. Ha! I added the red bitty buttons to balance out the red in the pincushion, which is popped and shaped for dimension. Thanks for taking a closer look.

love the look of this card! The quilt is gorgeous, and the blue background just ties everything together. Love the coloring on your pincushion - it almost looks real!

As always another perfect card. WOW. The beautiful quilt and sewing accessories - and no there is not too much blue. Perfect sentiment too. All done to perfection again. Lovely. What more can I say.

Cheryl, when you use such beautiful shades of blue, you can never have too much. Your placement of the various sewing elements gives such a soothing balance to this card. Along with the wonderful sentiment, it feels like a big hug from a friend...how perfect for a card made by you. Right into my favs.

A gorgeous card, Cheryl. That quilt and all the sewing accessories show the warmth of home. It won't be long we'll all be needing quilts and blankets for warmth...especially me. I am such a cold one. Ha
