I've been working hard the last two days on a 12 x 12" art canvas storyboard - I had written a series of steampunk tweets on Twitter, and I decided to take some of those tweets and outline a story for this beautiful lady.
Two different Stampotique stamps were used to make her. A Graphic 45 hat was cut out and affixed to her head. I masked the dress and added a gear. I also affixed another gear over one foot. I'm not entirely certain about keeping the Industrial Chic "witch hazel" pendant to her one arm - that's sorta her purse, but I might have to cut out another claw or hand for her to hold it.
The finishing touch was Indian bindis to double as earrings.
I'll eventually post the finished project. She's not even completely glued together yet, and I still have to put her against the backdrop and the storyboards. I do love the detailing on her, though. She's sweet.

Whoops - I forgot to add that the paper rose attached to her hat is from a set by Recollections. The rose was initially too big for the hat, but I pulled off two layers and then glued it down.
That rose totally makes the hat.

Thank you so much, Diane! She's coming out beautifully, and I still have a few finishing touches for her. The hard part is tapping my toe and waiting for a few more stamps to arrive before I can assemble the whole creation!
