I typed up and printed this scripture on Bristol WC paper and then tried Dini sanded wc pencil technique. I like it but goofed when I tried to brush away flakes from the sentiment - yup, they blended and went "smooth"...so in the end I just took my brush and went over all the spots although some flecks remain. I hated the bottom of my piece (got too muddied with foliage and flowers) so I tore it off and distressed the sides. Then I added some Pebble cardstock and made some "stone" marks to it. The ribbon covered a bare spot nicely. Thank you for a nice challenge today!

You found the perfect sentiment to tie in with the challenge too!
I'm wondering if the Bristol Board (much as I love it!!) wouldn't have been absorbent enough for this technique to work at its best.
I really like the torn look at the bottom - a happy retrieval - or pruning! of your excess foliage ;-).
