I was there several times...before the new monuments. There were walls of tributes from ordinary people, expecially touching were the angels....one for each person who died...with their names on them.....everything was handmade by the people. It is an awe inspiring, sacred feeling to stand where this terrible tragedy happened. I love your scrapbook layout tribute, Michelle. Beautifully done!

Even over here I remember how awful and unbelievable that day was. It must have been very moving to visit the memorial site. I believe that was the flight that my BIL lost some colleagues on.
