I ended up with a rather plain and simple card for the color challenge this week, but it was a struggle getting there. I recently bought the blush die, thinking it would match with the blush stamp, but found they are not a perfect match. Moved on to plan 2, and die cut the flower out of Melon and the stem out of Wasabi, but still not happy, so on to plan 3. Ended up cutting the die out of white paper and sponging the flower and stem. Then used the die cut flower from plan 2 as a shadow behind my sponged flower.
Wow, some days cards go together with ease, and other days they are more like an experiment in trial and error.

Persevering certainly pays off! I love the final result, especially the double layers of the flower. The colors are just slightly different from each other, and they work perfectly together here. BTW, I finally broke down and ordered the bunny with cake stamp from a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for the enabling!
