For today's Inspiration Take 2 challenge from Audrie.
I was disappointed and frustrated to find that Pinterest have become more exclusive. I could only see about the first five rows of pins on the board, so had to take my inspiration from a narrower choice. AND, I had great trouble getting to link to Kenzo Flower because at first it looked as if I'd have to sign up even for that...
I tried to keep with the light airy feel of the pin.
Stamped my image on white card, coloured with H2Os and a black glaze pen for the centre of the poppy. Doodled a double border with the die as a guideline, added a sentiment.
The base is some paper that was on my desk - I'd used it to blot up the excess spray from misting something earlier with a homemade mist. I embossed it, sponged the edges with green and added some chunky white enamel. Keeping it simple I finished it off with a seam binding bow and some butterflies.
Oh, yes - the poppy panel was over-stamped lightly with Linen using Antique Linen, since it was a bit bright white in contrast with the seam binding.

I knew someone would pick up on those beautiful poppies, and you were the one! Your card is just lovely, Sabrina. I love the distressed-looking yellow dotted background.

Looks like more photos were added to Audrie's Pinterest Board - I didn't see these last night or I would have made a card inspired by these. Love your take on the poppies!!

Super pretty Sabrina! Love the flowers and the bg is amazing - to think it was a scrap used to clean up a previous project - now that is recycling! Fun card. Hugz!

Beautifully striking, Sabrina - you create the most unique and beautiful backgrounds, and this is no exception - and as always, real attention to detail with those finishing touches!!
