For our stencil stamping challenge, I wanted to try using sentiments for the stamping inside the stencil because that was a technique we learned in the OCC Stretch your stamps. First I made balloon stencils by using the dies and die cutting some plastic from a stamp set. Then I stamped the sentiments in the balloons. With a blender tool I then added more color to each balloon over the sentiments. I masked also, so that the 2 smaller balloons would be in front of the larger one. In the photo the pink ink looks more splotchy than it looks IRL. Stamped the sentiment, added strings with a micro pen and done. Linking to TLC495 (stencil stamping) and CAS286 (stencils). Also,

OOOhh How nicely done! Love the hot colours and the way you arranged the balloons. Not to mention the great technique. Thanks for describing it so clearly!

EEEEEP!!! I am totally loving this card!!! The sequins are perfectly placed, and those word-print balloons add so much fun to card. Great use of the color inspiration as well. Thanks so much for playing along at OLS!

Love the balloons. I thought about using a much larger area for the stamping, but didn't think it would have the same effect. While it's not quite the same effect, it is awesome! This card is great!
