I was inspired by a post on the internet that was a field of Poppies and was talking about Flanders Field. I have a relative buried there, so thought I'd grab this poppy image and make a card with it!

You've done such a nice job of mixing the pattern on the paper with the die-cut swirls - something I envy because I can never make it look right. Your card is beautiful! The step card technique and the oval feature add to the swirls to make this a really rich looking card. TYFS!
P.S. I also love the poem "In Flanders Field" - and thanks to your relative for giving his life...
