This has been one of those cards that I had in my head, thought it would be quick and just couldn't get it down on paper... So several hours later
I started with this fabulous card by two week's ago FS391, Debby4000 Fish Bowl by Debby4000 at Splitcoaststampers
It was one of three of her fabulous creations I had in my favorites. (Go Debby!!)
I paper pieced the fish bowl and then stamped it again on acetate to give it a glazed look (WT492). Hence the flash reflection in the photo. Making the fish bowl was the easiest part of the card...
Then I wanted to make a room, first "wallpaper" I treid was too formal with the bowl. I still think the flowers are a bit big, I actually meant to mount it the other side up. Then I got the table together, tried to give the legs a curve and gave up after several disasters. Finally I wanted a sentiment in a frame...so that punch is a picture frame, please go with it for me;) Just as a final oops, I mounted the new stamp label upside down... good thing I stamped it on scrap & it didn't matter...

I think it's really cute..the wallpaper flowers have sort of a 60's flower power vibe to them. I love the lace tablecloth and your fishbowl is really fun and shiny!!

Oh my goodness you had me giggling over your comment. Boy, I've been there. It seems like such a good idea ... then several hours or a complete day goes by. But... a good thing you stayed with it because this card is a cutie. A great way to use gloss!

WooHoo this was sooooo worth the time. I had a good chuckle reading your description ...I was laughing WITH you. This looks like you stepped back into the 60's....complete with a goldfish. Love it.

Well done on persevering and ending up with such a great card. The fishbowl is perfect for the challenge . And since the rest of us don't know what your imaginary card looked like, we just see how great the real one turned out to be.
