Really this was easy, I just shoulda left well enough alone! Today Judy has us re-visiting TLC168, embossed watercolor. I almost gave up on this after trashing 2 other attempts!
First I inked in EE, then Versamark & clear embossed. Then using SU Watercolor Crayons I sort of stippled color onto the trees, using several colors. Then I had to go & add some sky. I'm not at all happy with that. I used the old color wheel to match the Old Olive base. I needed something to balance the left corner so used a Stampendous greeting.
Judy, this was a fun (really!) technique to do & I love your new avatar.
Thanks for stopping by.

If my memory serves me, I remember these trees being bare branches. You used your watercolor crayons so well and gave them the leafy look of summer, Karen. You matched the colors very well to Old Olive.

I think it's very pretty, Karen! I love that you added leaves to your trees. Your sky is also pretty...I'm thinking if you carried the color all the way up you might like better

I like it Karen! Great Fall colors and you used one of my top 5 favorite stamps of all time. I used a stamp from that set today too. Fun look to the trees. Hugz!
