I used two stencils that I cut with my Cameo cutting machine.
For the background, I sponged several pastel colors. I placed a second stencil over the sponged panel and added some embossing paste over part of my background.
I die-cut the cone (pink card stock for the ice cream, burlap for the waffle cone). I sponged brown on the burlap to give it more interest ... and sponged pink around the outer edges of the ice cream scoop, coated it with crystal effects and when dry, added a few dazzling details to the top for sprinkles.
Great card, Loll! I love the added paste spots over the stenciled BG! The burlap cone, crystal effects and added sprinkles are really fun for the ice cream! A very happy card!

The backgrounds you create with your homemade stencils are just fabulous! Love the pastels combined with a layer of embossing paste, a technique I never thought of! The burlap cone is genius and adds the texture! I LOVE this card!
