This is my card for Giovana's DTGD challenge. For this, I revisited one of my own TLC challenges from back in April ~ Pillow-Top Background. I discovered that a cello bag makes a great substitute for acetate when sponging .
Sponged my background. Stamped that sweet Lili of the Valley image on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks. Cut it out using out-of-the-box as I didn't want to cover my ENTIRE sponged background with the image panel. Edged it with Stickles, added Liquid Pearl dots to the quilt and popped both layers up on foam dots onto a cream base.

Hang on while I pick my jaw up off the ground! Sabrina, you sponged that background!?! It totally looks like fabric! Love that sweet LOTV image! Thanks for playing along in the DTGD challenges!

What a gorgeous card, Sabrina. The pillow top bkg looks like a satin baby pillow. beautiful effect you achieved. I love the little pearls and the adorable image that you colored so well.
