This is my card for Cassie's challenge - used up two scraps from my desk and DTGD14CassieT spattered for the first time since I was a child.
After I read the challenge, I picked this scrap from my desk which was left from Birgit's Glue Art MIX challenge a while back. I'd done it on mixed media paper, so I was able to mist it and wash it with a couple of H2Os and then splatter it with a darker colour.
I cut a white poppy and then the black one to use as a shadow, but I liked it better with just the black on its own. Added some sequins. The rainbow scrap is from a TLC to make our own stencils. I'd used powdered chalk pastels but then when I brushed them with Mod Podge to ix them, they smudged and I ended up with a sheet that almost felt like vinyl, so it stayed on my desk.
DH and I debated about whether to add black edging to the pink oval. Now I see it on screen, I think the answer is yes. I can probably add some black in between the white Liquid Pearls - I hope.
Another fun card to make .
