 | | These cards are so similar that I grouped them together in one pic. Just playing with my new Hey There Buds stamp. The first thing I did was to remove the greeting, converting it into a separate stamp. After experimenting with different ways to color this stamp, I had the best success with coloring it with Stampin' Write markers, then lightly misting it with water, then stamping on Whisper White CS. The multiple blue-greens used on the card on the right blended nicely, just how I hoped.
I also tried misting the paper = not as clean an image. I tried misting watercolor paper = image bled way too much. I tried watercolor crayons misted with water = okay, but not as crisp an image as the Stampin' Write markers.
To conclude: I put sticky note in with this stamp: Color with markers; mist with water; stamp on Whisper White. I think this is fun little stamp to mess around with! |
