Hello friends! First let me apologize for not getting caught up on my comments. Mom was back in the hospital this weekend. But she is home now Thank the Lord.
This card is for Larry, he is Yabadodo aka Faith's father! She is such a sweetie, of course I wanted to make a card for him! He is 91 years old and could use some cheerful mail.
The tractor actually had "Cowlick" the cow on it, but I cut him off and gave him the boot to the next pasture (wink). He was taking up too much room and I wanted to use the barn die and have a pretty tree
Thanks for stopping by!

Awesome Kathleen!! What really blew me away on this wonderful card is that you fussy cut that tree! Oh my gosh, talk about patience! I love that you altered the tractor so that the wonderful barn fit in there! Fantastic!

You sure do know how to create a wonderful scenes...Love your red barn and tractor and it's so nice "Cowlicks" could provide the sound track! You know, if you can't be "in the picture" at least you can be heard! (or herd...no pun intended) :-) I am glad your mom is out of the hospital and back home again...Blessings and prayers for you both!

Kathleen, this will absolutely bring cheer to that sweet elderly man, how kind are you! Praying for your Mom's health, you have so much to do yet you still find time to create this great card to cheer up someone else--what that says about you and your huge heart is very special. I love the tree--I don't think there's a better one that this SU one, and you've colored it to perfection, beautiful!!! Your red barn and tractor are precious, and I love that patterned DP frame in combination with the Spellbinders one in black that really grounds the card. WONDERFUL!!!
Thank you again for your kind comment on my card, it really touched my heart.

Oh goodness, Kathleen - comments are great but when real life makes demands they certainly come first. You must give us an update on how you are doing yourself these days.
Lovely tree is right - that is the stamp from that set with which I most struggle, I don't think I've made a card I like with it yet. And then I see people using it, like this card, and I wonder what am I doing wrong. That barn die is so cute. Just as well we don't have barns remotely like that here so I don't need to wish I had it ;-). Ours tend to be just corrugated iron!!
