I saw this really fun tutorial for a new to me technique using Gelatos. You simply color directly onto paper (or Gesso primed paper or canvas) and use your finger to dry blend the Gelatos. The next step is to use markers along the edges to add some definition-I ended up using a bit of water with the blending on this step. I wanted a bit more color so I scribbled a bit of Gelato onto acetate and wet it before spattering it onto the bg. Before the next step I sprayed with a matte acrylic sealer. I had scraps leftover from a card yesterday using the Labels 9 Nestie and I used those in the corners. I set off one of my stripes with a piece of vintage lace.I used my dressform for the vertical element of the sketch. I cut my dress form in both dp and black. I cut the black top piece in half and offset it behind the dp piece. I layered the black legs over the dp then added CE for some shine. I sponged along the edges of my dressform in Suede and accented with some tulle behind and a ribbon flower/bow on the front. Last step was a fun sentiment. This is a technique I'll surely use again-FUN!
