This is one of those 'experimenatl' card that didn't turn out like my brain suggested! I'm really not too happy with this but it is way too hot in the stamp room to try again, maybe later.
The waxed paper no iron resist was fun to do. I envisioned cloud like & wave like areas. Not so much....
I do like my sunset for today's CAS.
Thanks ladies for the fun challenges.
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh look at it again! The background technique looks like the palm trees you used for the image...can you see it? Sometimes not being how you thought it would be turns out to be even better! I love it.

I chuckled at your description! The people who were not happy with their cards today seemed to be the ones I just loved! What appeals to me on yours IS your soft coloring and blending, Karen! You clearly defined the water with that beautiful shade of blue. Great job on this one!

I think it's a card that took the technique and showed a side of it I never even thought about!!! I love the way you think!!!! For the record, the card is a beauty!!! What a great take on the technique!!!!

We are our own worst critics aren't we? I happen to love your coloring and the softness you got with your colors in your background. Maybe the heat got to you huh? To think this isn't a beauty is just nuts sistah! LOL
