This is my submission for the CAS challenge today - sunsets. I am wondering if anyone else has tried using the Canson Canva-Paper for their stamping? I'm a little disappointed with it because it seems like my dye inks don't want to dry on it. I was very careful not to leave thumb-prints in it or smudge it, but the paper seems not to be very porous or something. Any advice?? I do love the canvas texture of it and would love to be able to use it but I'm afraid it would smudge in the mail. Blog post: http://one-happy-stamper.blogspot.co...as-almost

Oh my goodness! This is gorgeous and the texture of the canvas really adds to the appeal. I don't know anything about working with this base and hope it does eventually dry for you. I could stare at this all day!

Wow! I can see why you want to use this paper. The texture is amazing and really adds dimension to your sponging. Have you tried drying it with a heat gun (carefully)? I love the rich colour you've achieved on your card. A beautiful scene and perfect for this challenge!

I did try the heat gun, but not too long because I had already stuck the panel to the card base and didn't want it to warp. :P Maybe it just needs more time to dry than I'm used to with regular dye inks. I would use StazOn inks but I don't have all the colors I needed.

I've been thinking about that very stampscape stamp and your lovely card shows me just how good a stamp that can be! Thanks for sharing your card and your experience with the paper!
