For the MIX portion of this, I made my own stencil using my swiss cheese border punch. I painted the red bg with red acrylic then applied some gesso. Next I stenciled the blue dots using my punched stencil and did the same with a star stencil and some modeling paste mixed with gold acrylic. For the Friday challenge to represent summer in some way..well the Fourth of July pretty much says it all!

I love how you placed that more "formal" Nestie shape of the focal image against that super modern-art panel. It shouldn't work, and yet it does - perfectly!

Oh wow, Polly, this is an awesome mixed media card with your very artistic panel, great colours and love the dots and stars on it!! My 27 year old son is SO wishing he was a Counsellor at Summer Camp again this year in Conneticut - what is it with Summer Camp!!
