This is for MIX74 - Part of the Packaging. I did my BG by using a crumpled scrap of a shopping bag to "stamp" over a piece of WC paper with green and yellow Distress Inks, which I then wet and let bleed and blend. I loaded up a piece of bubble wrap with acrylic paint mixed to a yellowy green and placed my paper on top of it and that was enough to print. The other bit of packaging is the black tissue paper running across the card and the texture in that didn't photograph at all, it's not so dead black IRL. The rest of the card is pretty self-explanatory. Lots of fun to make. I liked this so much that I made a companion ATC version of it, scaled down and with a different BG.
Thanks for looking!

Oh - the paint on the bubble wrap turned out brilliantly! I was wondering about that, when I was having not a lot of success with ink this morning. But since I was snatching half an hour before work, there was a limit to how messy I could get. I'll definitely have to try it with paint now I see this. I love the stars - very cool indeed. I'm not surprised you're really happy with this. Great masculine feel to it, too.

I thought that was a Paper Source stamp...very cool owl with the funky eyes! Your bg turned out great..I was trying lots of things and I just couldn't get the bubble wrap "stamp" thing to work for me..I guess the trick is to just lay it on top. I love your yellow swirly squares! Fun card Robin!
