I've been wanting to try this technique for a long time. I really like how this turned out, but it needed a little pop of something, so I added one of the banners from Perfect Pennants.

It's really easy to do. Get a decorative napkin and peel off the extra layers so you only have the thin front layer. I used the Stampin' Up adhesive sheets to adhere the napkin to a piece of cardstock cut to size. (Other tutorials tell you to use freezer paper or plastic wrap between the cardstock and napkin and iron to adhere. The adhesive sheets are much easier.)
Then cover the front of the napkin with versamark, sprinkle on the Iridescent Ice (it's an embossing powder) and use a heat gun to melt. Easy Peasy.

This is beautiful! Good job! This kind of reminds me of the dryer sheet technique, you use one that's gone through a load or two so it doesn't have that waxy feel to it, (you need to iron it flat, quickly with low heat), spray it with adhesive, lay it on top of your stamped card and sprinkle it with glitter. Gorgeous! Thanks so much for sharing your technique!

Hi ttemby - you don't need the heat & stick with Iridescent Ice. It's an embossing powder. If you are using plain glitter, you would need the heat & stick. I think the Iridescent Ice is sparkly but a little more subtle than glitter.
Hope that helps.
