For this week's faux enamel technique challenge, using this week's sketch for the layout.
Here's the story:
I didn't have enough clear ep for the technique, so I went shopping, day-before-yesterday. Tripped and fell, bruising and skinning my knee (which is now more colorful and more dimensional than this card) and messing up my shoulder. Then I spent yesterday at the walk-in clinic, trying to figure out the shoulder issue. Just soft tissue damage, thankfully. So, I'm just now getting around to finishing this card! And, yes, I got the ep, as well as a frozen pie that was consumed only for the tin...
I double-double embossed the leaves. First, I embossed with the retro circles, then with the branches with leaves. I colored with copics, then heat embossed the lot with clear ep.
Paper crafting can be hazardous. I'm very grateful for Tylenol.

Oh wow, Brenda!
I'm sorry about your knee and shoulder, that's no fun at all. I've had a couple of bad falls in the last three years, so I'm glad that it's no worse than bruising - I hope you're back to normal soon. Take care and don't overdo things.
(Here, when the local authorities cut the grass they just leave it and it ends up on the concrete paths. And with our rain, it gets wet and slippery and is totally lethal, even when you're taking care!)
The double embossing effect is amazing! The swirls in the blue remind me of Van Gogh paintings, I sort of feel as if I'm lying under a tree looking up into the night sky.
Wow...glad your on the mend! Beautiful card, I've never heard of this technique but love the idea of eating a pie. You better move the lazy boy in the craft room and prop that knee up! TFS, Have a Wonderful day!
I love your beautiful card. Your layout and color choices are
top notch. Both kinds of embossing just add to this eye catching
card. TYFS
What we don't go through to get our craft supplies and finish our
projects! Have a good recovery!
Wowzers! This is one gorgeous beauty brought about by ummmm well maybe not sweat and tears but tears and pain! I wish you a speedy recovery from the fall. This is one gorgeous card! In my faves it goes. LOVE the double embossing and the coloring with copics. Will definitely have to give this a try!

Sorry about the rambling...your card is awesome...what a great job you did with this technique!

Oh my gosh, Brenda, I hope you're well on the mend by now!
I think Sabrina nailed it when she referenced Van Gogh - that's exactly what I thought, too! And you aced the sketch challenge, too, love the border on the embossed panel. Fantastic!
