I found some tutorials on YouTube for creating backgrounds with melted crayon. It took me an hour to find my craft iron - had it about 10 years and never found a use for it before. I love this technique! I used Crayola crayons; 1 yellow and 2 shades of green. Then I cut all my pieces out of the finished piece. So quick and pretty! Buffed it a little with a soft cloth to make it shine. Dies: CL/Fanciful Flourish, SS/Circle on a Line, MB/Tessatina. Punches: MS/Buterfly, Fiskars Flowers. Matted on dark green DCWV and adhered to white base.

Wow, you melted up one fabulous green formula with your mixture. It truly is a challenge when it sends us digging after tools, images, or papers we haven't used in forever.
You see, that is why I am a hoarder. How can I get rid of something that I might need for some new challenge.

OH, this is so pretty! The swirls of green look like waves in the ocean. And how clever to cut out a partial circle to frame your pretty flower there. LOVE it!
