Today's TLC challenge was to do a Faux Enamel technique. It was a great challenge. The only problem I had was coloring the metal stars. I tried with a Bic Marker, copics and a SU marker. If you have any suggestions, let me know.
Thanks, for a great challenge, Sabrina.

I don't have Copics, but I've coloured foil with Sharpies which must surely be similar. From here, it looks pretty good to me. And it's a fabulous patriotic card.

Wonderful! Love your patriotic card. It's a little funny to color the metal w/ Copics or sharpies. And if you go over it again, it erases what you did the first time. I found out by accident that if I added a bit more color w/ the marker on top of the first layer of embossing, it actually held. Then I just embossed again on top of it.

Your design is just perfect for your patriotic theme - great card. I extracted as much ink as I could for each segment by turning my Copic marker to the side then pressing it into the metal. This gave me more ink to work with. I think that if you used a drop of various color refill then worked it around with the nib you could get the same result. Your coloring looks fabulous to me!
