I just had to make myself one of these, since I'm giving the first one away -LOL. I used DSP paper in the background instead of the original custom watercolor background. I decided to make it a bit cleaner in the front this time - as I like to frame them.
I also was thinking this is a rainy summer day in Seattle (get it F4A226 --cloudy day?)....I will sometimes light the fire when it's really chilly, so I used some cotton on the chimney to represent smoke (even though my real fireplace is gas-LOL).
A single word is stamped on the inside panel....can you guess what it is?
Hugs,
Audrie

"home" This is so lovely...all the little details like the scrollwork on the roof, the lace curtains, the leaves..really wonderful! Amazing card...I can see why you'd need to keep one.

wow, this is so gorgeous... love how you framed the whole scene, the little fence, the scrollwork on the roof peak, the lacy curtains, the flowers, the little butterfly... just love all of it... what I really want to know, is did you die cut the tree twice in order to get the leaves for the tree?
