This is one of two cards I made for the MIX 72 challenge "Some Like It Hot!" - to use heat reactive mediums on your project.
Both of my cards use the same stamp, which was colored with Distress markers, misted and stamped. This is the second stamping, stamped on heavy cardstock. After it dried, I inked the clean stamp with VersaMark and stamped directly over the original image, using the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to position it correctly. I added a watercolor background and die cut to size.
The card front was partially embossed with the CB Swiss Dots folder and the bottom edge punched with the MS Doily Lace edger punch. I diecut an opening just larger than the focal piece and backed with a SB Lacy Square. I lined the card front with DP from DCVW and adhered the image with foam tape. The sentiment is also heat embossed. I added a ribbon and a MS butterfly. I brushed the butterfly and touched each of the embossed dots with a Wink of Stella clear brush pen.
As always, thanks for looking!
