I printed the dachshund image from Doodle Pantry onto X-Press It cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers. I cut around the image with detailed scissors.
I cut a circle with a Nestabilities die, and drew in the grass and sky to create a little scene for the dog to be jumping from. I framed the circle with black cardstock.
Patterned paper from Bo Bunny serves as the main panel, and is paper pierced and faux stitched with a colored pencil. It is framed with black cardstock.
The sentiment is one of many from the Dizzy Dachshund set. It was printed and a MFT die-namic was used to create the flag. A dog paw brad was used to hold the flag in place.
I glued the rear of the dachshund onto the circle scene, and the front of the dachshund is pop-dotted to give the illusion of truly jumping forward.
Inspired by today's F4A225.."That Thing You Do". I have a dachshund named Sloopy, who truly is my world. I also volunteer to transport dachshunds to foster homes and forever homes through All-American Dachshund Rescue.
Thanks so much for looking!

What a great thing to do, rescuing animals of any kind. I love your doxie image, and would you give Sloopy a hug for me?

Your card is adorable Kecia!!! I feel about my Shih Tzu the way you do about your dachshund. I think you are a wonderful person for working with the rescue. There are so many dogs that need placement now.
