Hello!! Today's Friday Free4All Challenge is focused on our other talents other than paper crafting. Before I discovered stamping, I was obsessed with cross-stitch. I found this Ribbon Embroidery kit at JoAnn's on clearance several years back.....I wish I would have bought more of them but was intimidated at the time since I had never done it before. It turned out to be very fun and pretty easy! The kit came with a plastic rounded box and lace trim.....once the embroidery was done, I used a glue gun to adhered everything together. Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!!!

Wow, Angela...this is absolutely awesome. I used to cross-stitch when my eyesight was better. I have an oak case with all the DMC colors...maybe I need to get bigger Aida cloth and join you! Love, love, love this project!

very pretty!! I used to do x-stitch all the time too, but it has taken a back seat to creating cards and stamping!! This makes me want to get back into it some!! :-)

Angella what a great job you have done of this stitching...I also use to do petit point, needle point and cross stitching before my eyes got too bad... I use to love doing this kind of thing.... great job.... love it...
Oh my gosh, your silk ribbon embroidery is beautiful! Like Marie-Alice, I used to do all sorts of embroidery, too, before paper crafting, I am not sure if I can do it again (same reason - eyesight!). Your project is simply wonderful!
