This took me practically the whole day, it has made me hungry while making it, and now, I really need to cook! For this card, I used twine for the "noodles" - Thursday's Challenge - and used the sketch from Wednesday. I am adding this to Friday's Free for All Challenge - "The Thing You Do" - the other hobbies you enjoy aside from paper crafting (I was going to say, what other hobby? LOL). Cooking is a far second to paper crafting, but our entire family bond during dinner - and that's why I cook! Please head on over to my blog for details and close-up pics: http://www.gemscottage.com/wordpress/?p=1448
Thanks for looking!
***To answer Precious Kitty's question: inside the card, it says: "You are the father of my kids, You are the love of my life! Happy Father's Day!" ***
Thank you for all the sweet comments - love reading them!

Oh wow! How creative of you to get that yellow and white twine and create noodles of all kinds with it! (I just checked out the close-ups) I love the striped dp as it makes everything pop so nicely! This card must be for someone really special!

This is the most clever, creative, use of twine/string I've seen in this challenge. You are a lady who pays such attention to the tiny little details and the outcome is rich and inspiring. So fun, Gem, your hubby will love it, but he'll probably get hungry looking at it and send you to the kitchen to whip him up some real Father's Day noodles;))!!

As Michelle said - genius. That is SO clever and fun. You really rocked this challenge. And you're making me wish that I had the makings of a Thai sweet and sour soup for tonight instead of the sweetcorn chowder I have planned.
