Great challenge to-day so I dug out my jute instead of the usual ribbon! I stamped the sunflower and leaf then the stem and leaf separately and cut them out. I ripped the edge of the card and sponged around the frame. Next I sponged the edges of the ripped pieces and glued the torn edge back on. Used pop dots to attach the stem and side leaf and added the jute.

Sue, your sunflower card is GORGEOUS....not only the shading in your stamping, but the subtle shaded edges on all of your panels. (This was the first SU set I ever bought...but my sunflowers NEVER looked as good as yours)

This is amazing looking! I love the way you colored the edges like that, and your sunflower is awesome!! Fantastic card!!

I've had to look at this to see what was sponging and what was torn! It's a great look with the big sunflower and jute! (That sort of string always reminds me of rhubarb, since it's often tied with string rather than elastic bands in the shops ).

You're taking me back to my early days of stamping -- tearing was all the rage then. I've always liked the looked, but it's one of those simple things I never think to do. You've made it look like high art.
