We have a color challenge at ODBD this week using pink, ivory, and tan. After “googling,” irises, I found some of the most beautiful pink irises! I colored my Iris pink (adding some green for the leaves), die cut it with Vintage Flourish Pattern dies, layered some ivory-colored text DP, along with tan DP, matting both with pink. I paper-pierced the outer layer, added one of the Beautiful Borders dies with some floss, and then added my sentiment from All Occasion Sentiments. A little ribbon in the left corner and some pearls in the right finished it off. I think it has a vintage feel to it.

Beautiful, Cheryl. What a great color challenge and I just love tan and pink together. Might have to do this one too! The iris is gorgeous in pink and I don't think I have ever seen one like that. The ivory newsprint is also a great addition along with your embellishments.

Beautiful card Cheryl, I really love how you used this border die, I bought it because of that and still I haven't found the perfect time to get it out.... Pretty cards are a bit harder for me to make, it is usually easier to come check out your galley to see them. Lovely iris, one of my favorite flowers from childhood. I love everything about your card including the perfect sentiment.

Somehow I missed this gorgeous creation on my first trip through the gallery. It is just beautiful. I love the lace and the script bkg. You chose such pretty shades of pink. Just lovely.
