I thought of sunrise when I saw today's color combo. I was actually up for the sunrise this morning after having trouble sleeping-22yo DS has some big decisions coming up and this mama is stressing along with him! So, a little early AM ink therapy was in order. I diecut my watercolor paper then gave it a good spritz of water. I then wet my brush and dipped it in the ink pad lid of the Bermuda Bay and washed most of the bg with blue. I then added in the Curry and Strawberry for some fainter color in the morning sky. I inked up my image with Stazon Black then took my brush and daubed some Bermuda onto the bottom wave area before stamping onto the dry bg. I sponged a bit more Bermuda onto the edges and around the ship a bit. I stamped my sentiment up in the sky. I embossed my Bermuda base and added a strip I already had with the texturz embossing. I punched a curry "sun" to put behind the sentiment corner. I added brads to the corners then popped the entire panel over the base. Now off to read my morning Scripture to shoot for calmer thoughts for me this morning.

The effect of the sun on this card is amazing. I don't know whether you planned it that way, but the crushed curry on the top layer right in front of the sun makes it look almost translucent. Just a beautiful card!
