After a very busy week/weekend and a busy upcoming week (I did childcare for my grandchildren this weekend and this week I'm doing mother-unit care for my mother who has Alzheimer's, so my brother can have a getaway), I was sooooo ready to stamp (and I bet I'll be ready to stamp by week's end). I did last week's color challenge (strawberry slush, so saffron and smoky something or other, I don't have the right colors, my pink is Adirondack watermelon but that's a fruit, right?), yesterday's FS (sweet gallery, Elaine), the TLC from a couple of weeks ago (stamping with ef, why have I not done this before????), and today's CAS (two-step stamping). Here is Elaine's card I CASE'd: New Beginning by Happy Heart at Splitcoaststampers
Similar layout, used a lattice looking ef, some pink, no little girl image, flowers, twine instead of ribbon at the bottom and CAS instead of layers.
This is the first time these stamp sets have felt ink and they are OLD! Even with the jig, I didn't do a very good job, I'm so inexact. That's who I am. But I had fun doing this card. Back to Mom's house to see what she's up to (probably still in bed).

What a beauty! I do like the way you have stamped with the ef and the blossoms look wonderful with it. Love the way you have made a cleaner and updated card from the case too. Thanks for playing the challenge(s).

Gee, I could have just about written your post. caring for my grandkids this week (and much of the summer),and mother with Alzheimer's. Your blossoms look wonderful against the background you created;that's a technique on my list to try as we'll.

Wow, what a unique card! Love the stamping over the geometric background! The effect of the embossing folder is awesome! The twine is a fun touch too. I love the look (I must remember to use my twine!)

This is lovely. I like your colors and design. I'm glad you got some time for yourself. I'm sorry your Mom has that ugly disease. Mine did too but I lost her six years ago.
