I am constantly playing catch up! This is for last week's Queen (Ann) and the new Queen has already been announced! I kept thinking today was Wed. but I lost a bunch of days having company and working the polls (that's my story and I'm sticking to it).
Ann leaves the most wonderful comments in the gallery and many a day she has lifted my spirits with her kind words. Her wonderfully creative gallery is a pleasure to cruise through and I finally decided on this card: SC490 Really Old Sympathy by Dockside at Splitcoaststampers
Hers are red Poppies, mine are a bunch of red daisies.
She has a stamped sentiment on a die cut, mine is just die cut.
We both have embossed backgrounds, although she has an inspired extra piece.
I decided to add some random pearls and to tie my bouquet up with a bow, she put a lovely frame around hers.
I promised her I would get my tribute to her made this week and I missed the deadline by just a bit :-)
Thank you for stopping by and taking a look!

My goodness Peggy you are making me blush! Your card is beautiful! I seldom make square cards; somehow I have trouble using the space right. You have had no trouble here I see! I love the doubling up effect you used to great advantage with your poppies. They look terrific. The rectangular sentiment is perfect against the embossed squares in the background. I am truly honoured by your beautiful card! Thank you!

Peggy, this is fabulous! I think your whole gallery is in my favorites! I love the shadowing with the double cuts as well as the black used for the leaves and stems! As you may have guessed, this one IS going into favorites too! Your ideas are mind boggling!

Another stunning card. I have that ef and now that I see how great it looks on your card I have to go excavating in my closet to find it. The beautiful red flowers with the bright bow looks great. Awesome card!!
