Too slow!!! Well gosh, the only way I can learn music to play it properly as written and not just ad-lib it by ear is to start slowly, and to count 1 and 2 and 3 and four and...over and over and over. And then gradually I get to speed up to what it should be . These cats are obviously not of that school of thought, playing away with joyful abandon.
Their rather lurid colours are because this week the MMTPT305 challenge destination is a little boy who cannot see. Sheri said our cards don't have to look great to a sighted person but lots of texture is good.
So - my little cats are flocked with the only two colours of flocking I have. They may look a bit bright but they feel lovely and soft. I also have music notes punched from sandpaper and stencilled with modelling paste. There is Glossy Accents on the stool, the loose keys flying off the piano are layered up three times, the blue layer is embossed and torn, and the edges of the main panel are distressed. Plus those fabric brads.
There is a pop-up/paper-engineering mechanism called a "noise maker", and if I have time this evening I'll make one of those to add a noise factor into the equation, before popping this into the post tomorrow.

I thought the same thing but my store did not have anything for noise. Your card is so sweet and love your images making their music. Austin will love it.

Perfect, Sabrina! Full of texture and just a really fun card! I don't think this is lurid in the least, either. I think the colors are totally appropriate for the subject matter and the fact that it is going to a young boy. I'm sure what he can't see his parents will describe to him. And what they see here will bring a smile to them as well. Great card!

Wow Sabrina, this is brilliant, I love all the products you used to make the perfect card for young Austin. One of the many things I love about the Sisterhood of the Travelling Teaparty is that our cards are made from the heart especially for the recipient. Your wonderful card is all that and more. xx

I love this image and the layers and edge cuts you have used will make this very interesting for Austin to explore! I'll have to give this a try tomorrow morning.
