I made this card for my son who is moving to "cold country" this weekend. The red represents our love, and the white....well...snow. We're from California, so we're having a hard time wrapping our heads around his choice to shovel snow and ice for months on end...*grin*...I was born in Michigan and lived in Illinois, Iowa, and Colorado before moving to California 25 years ago. I do not miss shoveling...
As for the inspiration for this card, I used Monday's TLC484 challenge to use border punches or dies for our backgrounds. I used an EK Success border punch.
