Mary (jandjccc) did this technique on this card. This is my go to technique for a soft and feminine card and I must have cased this at least a dozen times. The layer framing the image is lightly stamped with a script background stamp. Mom will be 87 in a couple of weeks so this is for her. It's rare for me to do a girlie card but I enjoyed doing this one. Thanks for stopping by.

So beautiful and wonderfully feminine, Nancy! Your Mom will love the soft beauty of this special card! A real treasure, as I am sure is the same of your Mom! The stitching is the finishing touch!

I am speechless (and that doesn't happen often). This is beautiful beyond words. The stitching is fantastic and goes so well with the soft colors and pearls. I pinned it to my pinterest board because I am still having computer issues when trying to list my favs...waiting for my husband to figure out what I am doing wrong. A big happy b-day to your mom. I know she will treasure this gorgeous card.
It is gorgeous! I don't know how you do such perfect stitching, and in a oval! This is going in my faves, although I will never be able to do it, but it is inspiring!

You do girly really, really, well! I love the way you've stamped the image and have the white stand out against the shadow images behind. Great looking embossed panels and the bow really make this extra special.

bring on the girlie cards...if this one is indicative of your frills! Mom is certain to love it as I! Happened to pick up a black metal two tier magazine rack yesterday that was that very same etched pattern...though it was ever so cool and you confirmed it here! Nicely done, Nancy

This is so soft and beautiful and OMG your stitiching around the oval is amazing! I love the shadow technique you did and the soft script behind the oval. That is a great EF and one I have not seen. This is beautifully designed and your sweet bow is the cherry on top!
Pretty in pink! Happy Birthday to your Mom! Your stitching around the oval had me gapping in astonishment - WOW - it's so perfect! Beautiful image Nancy, and your light stamping on the panel is divine. Sweet, feminine, and oh so lovely.
