Our challenge for this Teapot Tuesday Tickle week was to use a feather or a bird on our card. I used a bird from Crafty secrets "Birds and Blossoms" and coloured a feather with Distress inks to match his plumage. The sentiment happened by accident! I started by stamping the sentiment directly on the card but there was a bit of a shadow from the rubber around the edge of the stamp which fussy pot here didn't like so I restamped the text and made a scroll out of it to cover up the goof. The bg is watercoloured. Hope the recipient likes it! I love visitors to my blog at http://paperpasstimes.blogspot.ca/20...f-feather

Oh my goodness Elizabeth this is amazing. Your colouring is out of this world and your layout is fantastic. I love how you coloured the feather too. Straight into My Favs.

WOW! Outstanding work not only in design but in your incredibly coloring! I could stare at this all day! That bird is just fantastic and love the added texture to it! RIGHT into favorites it goes!

Beautiful! I love how you have covered your goof, we'd never know if you hadn't said anything. I love the bird image, the whole design is beautiful and earthy!

You know that I'm going to love the bird - and your wonderful grassy background is such a good match to the reeds it's perched on. But what impresses me even more is how well you managed to colour the feather! Any attempts I've made to change the colour of feathers have always failed. Other touches that I really like are the little script heart and that sweet metal corner.
(I had great fun using the postcard stamp from you to make a card for Stamperrobin's birthday recently - thank you again).
