I haven't participated in this teapot challenge for many, many moons but today I said, "Why not?"
I just went with the bird suggestion. Inside the card it says, "You are waiting for a card." The scalloped edge is cut higher than the back of the card.

so lovely to see you again....and what a cute way to come back, an adorable lil pieced birdie and sentiment
------------------------------ We as people are raindrops of colorful ink , falling down Crisp and Clear, each a different shade more vibrant then the last, but once we realize at the bottom of an endless abyss we all fall into the same inkpot forming one color, only then can we come together as one My son.

What a fun sentiment to use inside a "happy mail day" card! I love this clean and simple card with the pearly border. Using the patterned papers for the bird is something I wouldn't think to do and it looks wonderful.
