I tried Dina's technique spotlight (sanded pencil background) today with my watercolor paints, pencils, and some acrylic paint. Very, very interesting. I thought it made a very nice background for the birdhouse stamp from IO.
I love the sentiment and it made me think of the song, Great is Thy Faithfulness. I have several long time navy friends that are dealing with some very serious health issues today. Both waiting on test results.
So very thankful that God's mercies, grace, love, and kindness are new each morning.
Thank you for your visit.

The sentiment fits this lovely piece of artwork perfectly! Everything has such a peaceful feel about it first thing in the morning, and you've really captured that feeling.
You rocked the technique (I was a bit intimidated to try it) - and this card just blew me away! It's like calendar art! I'm sure that your friend/s will feel comforted and loved...
